1st Shift Inspector
Pro Resources has partnered with a small, hardworking, family-oriented company that manufactures orthopedic joint replacements. This position will have primary responsibility for performing inspections using precision measuring equipment.
Hours/Schedule:
8am – 5pm with breaks
Monday - Friday
OT available once they're fully trained
Pay:
$16+/hr., DOE
Job Duties:
- Perform inspection of product at different states in the manufacturing process using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, optical comparators, CMM, etc.
- Ensure all products meet internal quality standards and customer specifications
- Accurately and legibly document inspection results
- Compile Certificate of Compliance documentation packages according to customer requirements
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Process Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers to resolve questions and concerns as they arise
- Participate in corrective action and gage study activities as requested
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Train others on the operation as requested
Requirements:
- HS Diploma/GED
- 2+ years of Quality Control experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Blueprint reading knowledge
- Experience in medical industry preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn GMP, QSR, ISO, and good laboratory practices
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong documentation accuracy and legibility
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift
Environment:
- May require sitting or standing for long periods of time
- Occasional exposure to loud noise
- Very repetitive work
