JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for sawing material for all product lines and projects as specified on drawings and/or job paperwork. This will include tasks such as using several types of band saws and cut-off saws, maintain quality and safety standards, maintaining equipment and tooling, keeping records.
Shift and Compensation
- 1st shift: 6am-2pm with possible OT
- $17.00-19.00hr.
Job Duties
- Required to read, understand and follow work orders and engineering drawing.
- Measures and verifies material type and length utilizing tape measure, scales, and calipers
- Selects the proper equipment, blades, speeds, and feeds to safely and efficiently cut material
- Utilizes overhead lifting equipment, chains, slings, and magnetics to safely lift, move and store materials
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
Report time and material in manufacturing systems- Perform other duties as required
