The Metal Forming and Polisher is responsible for shaping and finishing metal parts to meet manufacturing requirements and quality standards. This role requires proficiency in metal forming, polishing, and basic welding techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various metals, demonstrate attention to detail, and be committed to maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
Shift and Compensation
- 1st shift 6am-4:30pm Mon- Thurs.
- Metal Forming- shape and form metal parts using appropriate tools and equipment, ensuring adherence to specified tolerances and quality standards.
Operate machinery such as press brakes, rollers, and hammers to manipulate metal into desired shapes.
Polishing- polish metal components to remove imperfections and achieve a smooth, defect-free surface.
Select and utilize appropriate abrasives, polishes, and buffing tools to achieve desired finish.
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and specification requirements.
Welding- Perform basic welding tasks as needed to join or repair metal components.
Ensure all welding operations meet quality standards and safety guidelines.
- Previous experience in metal forming, polishing, and welding
Proficiency in using metalworking tools and equipment.
Basic knowledge of welding techniques and safety precautions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Good physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
