Job Summary:
Pro Resources is seeking a 1st shift Material Handler for a book company located in Fort Wayne, IN. In this position candidates would move, stores, and retrieves product and supplies in the warehouse.
Pay:$16.50
Hours: Mon-Fri 7:30am-4pm
Essential Duties:
• Moves product and/or supplies from one location to another utilizing material handling equipment as needed
• Records transactions utilizing an RF computer device
• Removes product from skids
• Opens cartons, counts content, and stacks product for further processing
• Pushes, stacks or removes totes/boxes to/from conveyor or storage rack
• Packs product and supplies into boxes, totes, gaylords for shipment
Other Duties
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
• 1 year work experience in at least one previous job
• 6 months work experience which included walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard
Essential Physical Demands
• Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift
• Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 70lbs during the assigned shift – 30lbs or less continuously, 50lbs frequently, and 70lbs occasionally
• Ability to push/pull in a warehouse environment up to 70lbs force to push during the assigned shift – 1-50lbs continuously and 51-70lbs occasionally
• Ability to grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shift
• Ability to bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift
• Ability to work designated shift including overtime as required, which could include time before or after the designated shift and/or weekends
• Exposure to wide range of temperatures
