Job Duties
- As an Experienced Machine Operator, you create the surgical tools that have given us a reputation we can be proud of. In all of your work, you employ a high level of care to ensure quality products. You handle parts carefully to prevent damage, keep a neat and orderly work area, and maintain our machines and tools. If you detect a nonconformance or safety issue, you stop all production processes to correct the issue. You also complete inspection documentation and make sure we are meeting production standards. You take pride in the essential role you play in the production of high-quality surgical products in our company!
Background Profile
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- experience using a Star or Swiss Lathe
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to distinguish colors and shades
- Vision correctable to 20/20
- Basic math skills
- Setup skills
- Computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret customer drawings
- Ability to use micrometers for quality assurance
- Understanding of the proper use and limitations of standard inspection measuring and test equipment
