Pro Resources is seeking a dedicated and experienced Automotive Shop Supervisor for a client in Goshen, IN to lead a team of technicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, along with proven leadership abilities. As the Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Shift and Compensation

• Monday-Friday 7-4 PM
• Pay negotiable depending on experience  

Job Duties

• Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the automotive shop.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of automotive technicians and support staff.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with industry standards, shop policies, and safety regulations.
• Schedule and assign tasks to technicians, ensuring timely completion of work orders.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all repairs and services meet company standards.
• Manage inventory, including ordering parts and supplies as needed.
• Handle customer interactions, providing excellent service and addressing any concerns or issues.
• Monitor shop performance metrics and work to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate with the management team on shop operations, goals, and performance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Background Profile

• ASE Certification is Required
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
