JOB DUTIES:
Act as primary quality contact for assigned customers for customer requirements, APQP, PPAP, and customer quality issues.
Facilitates the resolution of internal and external complaints and supplier issues by insuring that the team has identified an interim action, root cause, and a long-term action to prevent recurrence.
Act as APQP (Key Event) representative for the Quality Department. This includes the development of Control Plans, Process FMEAS, and process Flow Diagrams.
Act as MRB representative for the Quality Department and communicates with all affected areas.
Track timing and coordinate the development and submission of PPAP s to customers.
Review and Analyze PPAP submission s from suppliers.
Assist in the training of employees concerning quality related issues.
Present monthly Quality Department Matrix and customer feedback to the Operations team during monthly all employee meetings.
Assist with continuous improvement in quality assurance, production efficiency, cost reduction, scrap reductions, and utilizing Six-Sigma Methodology.
Assist in performing supplier audits.
Participate in continuous improvement activities and other company programs.
Participate in Kiazan projects as required.
Create and maintain monthly quality matrix as directed by the Quality Manager.
Document and report daily audit results.
Document and report daily Scrap and rework results.
Perform all functions in compliance with ISO/TS16949 and Environmental Management System requirements.
Participate and support LPMS activities.
Assist Quality Manager with IATF 16949: 2016 program requirements.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Leadership abilities, good verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills and problem solving techniques.
This position requires a 4 year degree, or 3-5 years quality related experience with focus on continued education. Preferably in a technical area.
Knowledge ISO/TS16949 quality systems.
Good working knowledge of the AIAG Core Tools
GD&T experience and or training.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Travel will be required for this position. (Expected travel is about 10%)
Must have the flexibility to work any shift.
