1st Shift Press Brake Operator: 8:00am-4:30pm
Pay: $19/hr.
Overview:
Pro Resources has partnered with a leading manufacturer of conveyor belts serving various industries and is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator and Fabricator to join the team. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up and operating press brakes and performing fabrication tasks in a manufacturing environment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend, shape, and form steel, aluminum, and plastic materials according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Fabricate conveyor belt components and related parts using various fabrication tools and equipment.
- Cut steel, aluminum, and plastics accurately to required dimensions using aluminum saw, steel saw, and sleeve cutter.
- Grind parts to smooth edges and ensure proper fit and finish using grinders and other finishing tools.
- Perform routine maintenance on press brake machinery and fabrication equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet production goals.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and materials used.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.
- Previous experience operating press brake machinery and performing fabrication tasks in a manufacturing setting is required
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with using fabrication tools and equipment such as aluminum saw, steel saw, sleeve cutter, grinder, and pallet jack.
- Ability to accurately measure and cut materials using tape measure; familiarity with metric measurements preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
