Maintenance Technician

Pro Resources Staffing Service is assisting our client in their search for a 2nd shift Industrial Maintenance Technician. Position requires the ability to train on day shift for up to 30 days.  This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a company in the downtown area that's been around for nearly 30 years!

**Must have Industrial Maintenance experience to be considered for this position.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance on production equipment
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
  • Perform corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repair for a variety of assembly/machining and test equipment consisting of electronics, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, software, hardware and robotics systems
  • Develop, coordinate, track and perform preventive maintenance programs on production equipment (i.E., cleaning, retooling, oil-changing, calibrating, aligning, etc.)
  • Assist in process design improvement engineering studies involving product throughput, first-run yields, ergonomics, tooling, equipment and manufacturing processes
  • Confer with and assists engineers on problems that are moderately complex
  • Record machine maintenance and repair information
  • May liaise with outside vendors
  • Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area


High school diploma or GED
Technical certification or degree from accredited institute desired
At least two (2) years related experience
Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills.
  Knowledge of Press Brakes and Laser cutting equipment a plus.


Utilize appropriate PPE to perform the job.
Attention to detail/accuracy
Ability to communicate with varying levels of organization and outside vendors.

Ability to operate power and manual tools
Follow written and verbal instructions
Operate various types of tools and equipment safely and effectively
