- Pay : $23.50 / hour
Job Duties
- Perform preventative maintenance on production, facility, and support equipment using manuals, diagrams, and engineering specs
- Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues and make timely repairs
- Dismantle machinery to remove and replace defective parts using hand and power tools, lifts, and hoists
- Use measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to inspect and determine part tolerances
- Monitor, document, and communicate maintenance activity, irregularities, and ongoing needs to ensure continuity across shifts
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Provide support and information to team members, supervisors, and other departments as needed
- Conserve resources by using parts and supplies efficiently
- Stay up to date on technical knowledge through continued learning and training
- Contribute to a team-driven environment by completing additional tasks and assignments as needed
Background Profile
- Previous experience in a maintenance or mechanical role, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to read and follow technical documents such as manuals, diagrams, and equipment specifications
- Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical systems and using precision measurement tools
- Comfortable operating fork trucks, boom lifts, scissor lifts, hoists, and power tools
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and continuous improvement
- Flexibility to support team needs and take on additional responsibilities when required
