Electrical: Know how to troubleshoot and read electrical prints, Siemens, Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting and diagnosis.
Hydraulics: know how to troubleshoot and debug hydraulic circuits, read machine schematics and repair.
Pneumatics: Know how to troubleshoot and debug pneumatic circuits, read machine schematics and repair.
Know injection-molding machine general maintenance, troubleshooting, debug and repair as needed.
Execute lock out/tag out procedures as required on all Injection and related equipment.
Initiate, recommend or provide solutions to prevent the occurrence of any downtime that can be avoided with proper preventative, predictive or continuous improvement ideas.
Work with equipment suppliers to determine root cause of equipment failures and implement a permanent solution.
Maintain Plant Facility and associated equipment.
Perform daily checks of all injection molding equipment as outlined on the preventive maintenance schedule.
Fork truck license, Man lift certificate, and crane operation required, will train to our specifics (not required, but a plus).
Owns and maintains required basic set of tools needed to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Knowledge of basic math skills
Must demonstrate good judgment and decision-making ability.
Must possess interpersonal skills and be able to communicate on all levels.
Must have a valid drivers license, fork lift experience or willing to learn.
Has basic ability in the following skills: welding; brazing; soldering, or silver brazing; refrigeration repair; machine shop training; fabrication in wood, metal, plastic, etc.; electronic repair; plumbing, roofing, drywall, painting, etc.; and/or mechanical engine repair, transmission repair, robotics.
