Pro Resources is currenlty recruiting for a 3rd shift Maintenance Electrician for a local foundry in the New Castle area. Must be willing to work every other weekend. Direct Hire. $18-26/hr DOE. Excellent benefits including Health, Dental and Life insurance; 401k; Tuition Reimbursement.
Install and maintain the electrical systems of the plant. Perform all tasks with safety and quality in mind and in accordance with established procedures and process instructions. Take necessary action to minimize delay time and maximize production.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Extend treatment to all other employees of the Company as individuals with the courtesy and dignity shown to customers.
Exceed customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail.
Exercise maximum care to protect the environment by fostering and supporting responsible operating procedures.
Install and maintain, under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor or a higher classified electrician, the electrical systems of the plant to provide power for machinery, lighting and other equipment required for plant operation.
Diagnose, isolate, repair and replace malfunctioning components of the plant electrical system.
Perform emergency repairs as assigned.
Perform some mechanical troubleshooting and repair work as assigned.
Perform work in accordance with established procedures and work instruction and become familiar with applicable codes and safety specifications.
Read and interpret some manufacturing drawings and engineering specifications.
Train and assist in the training of lower classified electricians.
Perform most tasks with moderate supervision.
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
Secure proper tools for each task
Communicate suggestions and recommend solutions to problems to provide for an efficient operation
Approach work assignments in a positive manner and function as a team member
Perform other assignments as may be requested
Requires advanced shop math, complicated drawings and formulas, variety of precision measuring instruments.
Over one year, up to three years of experience.
Judgment to perform work and make decisions as to setups and quality.
