Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Ensure line housekeeping is maintained during production throughout shift.
Observe machine operation and help identify the cause of errors or other problems.
Maintain all aspects of your work station which may include touch screen controls.
Make necessary adjustments to the equipment and its components to ensure product meets required product specification.
Must be able to move materials and finished goods with required equipment.
Examine and inspect finished product to meet or exceed all quality standards.
Identify the different fiber components needed to acquire the desired blend of the product.
Handling finished product properly.
Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them in specified areas.
Measure, weigh and count products and materials as needed.
Record product, packaging and other information on specified forms.
Able to listen to instruction and follow directions.
Cooperative working relationship with management team and co-workers.
Able to communicate necessary information to management team and/or co-workers.
Follow process books 100%.
Observe and obey all safety rules.
Assist with daily cleaning PM s of the equipment
Experience working with non woven fiber materials a plus but not required.
Perform basic math skills.
Must complete departmental cross training.
Work minimum 40 hour week plus any mandatory overtime as needed which may include Saturdays/Sundays. Production needs dictate shift hours and overtime.
Working with various fiber materials and some fiberglass material.
Fast paced. Rapidly changing environments. Constant multitasking.
Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms, legs, moving your whole body; such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and standing for long periods of time.
Able to work in extreme hot and cold environment.
Lift up to 70 lbs repetitively as needed, occasionally overhead.
