First and second shift- Production workers/Clean environment

Shift and Compensation
- First shift 7:00am-3:30PM
- Second shift 3:00pm-11:30pm
- Monday-Friday, Saturday overtime possible
- $16.00/HR-1st
- $17.50/HR-2nd
Positions start immediately and will last until 1st week of January
- BASIC FUNCTION: Final assembly of mattress ensuring correct mattress cover, labeling, visual inspections, warranties, and packaging are meeting and exceeding customer requirements
- PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Apply covers to mattress, pillows, and toppers per schedule and/or customer order
- Zip cover onto mattress
- Make and place mattress into box
- Meet production goals

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must use basic math skills to count foam components.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to solve problems in a practical manner.

- Consistent heavy lifting 51lbs. – 120lbs. manual handling of mattresses
- Heavy pushing/pulling 50lbs. – 120lbs. manual handling of mattresses

G. General Quality Requirements
- Read, Understand and be trained on all related standard operating procedure and work instructions to perform tasks successfully and meet customer and QMS requirements.
- For specific quality expectations for this position, reference related SOP’s and work instructions
- Be qualified to use appropriate measurement device(s) such as ruler, caliper, tape measure, to verify product acceptance and proper machine operation.
- Constant visual inspection of materials and product to ensure acceptance
- Set aside any material or product that does not meet specification for disposition by appropriate personnel (supervisor, quality representative)
- General Safety Requirements:
Safety glasses, must wear wrist guards, hazard communications, forklift certification, lockout/tagout training, & follow appropriate safe work practices.
