    To maintain and troubleshoot all electrical components in and out of the facility including motors, starters, VFD s, PLC s, wiring, panels, conduits, distribution panels, I/P and P/I control systems, lighting, and similar.

Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of:
motors and motor circuits.
control systems.
PLC s (Programmable logic controllers)
VFD s (Variable Frequency Drives)
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
Ability to build a panel to prints
Understanding of electrical terminology
Run conduit and wiring.
Replacement of parts as needed.
Install and remove machinery.
Knowledge of plant control systems and power distribution
Maintain records and files.
Housekeeping and general cleanliness of work areas.
Follow industry procedures for safety related items such as lockout and tag out, arc flash, confined space entry, wearing of a harness, etc.
Clean up at the end of job.
Responsible for monitoring, record keeping, and taking appropriate action for specified Food Safety Plan, Food Quality Plan and prerequisite program requirements.
Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to management.

Education and Experience
High School Diploma, General Educational Development Diploma (GED) or equivalent experience
Strong background in electrical.
Good work history.
3 years of experience as an electrician in an industrial environment desired.

Work Environment
  • Must be able to lift 80 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb ladders up to 30 feet and work at higher elevations.
  • Must be able to work in confined areas.
  • Ability to work as a team and by self 
  •   Background in industrial electricity.
  • Basic PLC understanding and usage skills.
  • Must be able to understand and carry out instructions while performing manual labor related tasks.
  • Must be able to successfully use basic, math, writing, and reading skills necessary to complete the required paperwork and projects.
