Job Overview:
As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations within the manufacturing facility. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a positive and efficient working environment for the production team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Oversight:
- Supervise and manage the daily production activities.
- Monitor and analyze production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Implement and enforce production processes to meet quality standards.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of production staff.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals and expectations.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet established quality standards.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve any issues.
- Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
- Investigate and address safety concerns promptly.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Self-directed/motivated
- Excellent attendance is required
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of beauty products manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards
