Job Position Description
- Follows process instructions, Manufacturing Standard Procedures (MSP’s) and verbal instructions from the Site Ops Manager, Coating Manager.
- Prepares job traveler sheets and coordinates and performs the processing of the parts through fixturing, masking, cleaning, promoting, coating, demasking and de-fixturing.
- Loads machines, monitors process equipment during run, verifies coating thickness using various measurement devices and tools.
- Shuts down, unloads and reloads machines as needed.
- Maintains records, checklists and log books on equipment, including the documentation of witness strips, QC testing and maintenance.
- Able to read customer or engineering drawings or specifications for parylene or other coatings.
- Able to operate, maintain and troubleshoot parylene deposition systems or other related equipment.
- Assembles fixtures and assemblies for coating.
- Set up, adjusts maintains and operates the microblaster and related equipment if applicable at the facility.
- Prepares, uses and disposes of chemical cleaning and promotion baths.
Ideal Candidate Background
- Ability to read, write and follow written or verbal instructions.
- High degree of manual dexterity and hand to eye coordination.
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems
